We, humans, tell stories. From cave wall art to the latest generation video game, they surround us, make us and motivate us to create more stories, in an eternal cycle of interrelations between fiction and reality. It was to explore these relations that this project, Theke, was born.
Theke is an experimental virtual installation. Inside, the visitor finds four activities in augmented reality, each one portraying one of the infinite faces of how humanity deals with the fruits of its imagination. The activities in this version deal specifically with the relationships between individual-fiction, society-fiction, reality-fiction and reality-believability.
Theke can be visited via this link.
